Mumbai: Maharashtra has the highest number of corona cases. Meanwhile, former Maharashtra Chief Minister and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis have written to CM Uddhav Thackeray on the corona. Fadnavis has urged CM Uddhav Thackeray to reconsider the decision to impose a lockdown. He urged CM Uddhav to discuss these things again with all sections of the society and implement lockdown so that the lives of the common people are not affected.

Earlier, when the Uddhav government announced a night curfew and weekend lockdown, BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis supported his decision. However, at the same time, he had made a demand that the Uddhav government should also announce an economic package to the poor, small businesses, and middle-class families. 47,288 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in Maharashtra in the last 24 hours.

In Maharashtra, 26,252 people have been discharged from the hospital and 155 have died. Meanwhile, officials of the famous Saibaba temple in Shirdi decided to close the shrine from Monday till further orders amid notification issued by the Maharashtra government for restrictions, weekend lockdown, and night curfew to control the rise in corona cases.
