Speaking to the media on Monday, he said, "When the Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi government falls in the state, there will be a swearing-in ceremony at the right time. This time oath will not be taken in the morning, but such sentences should not be missed. During the election campaign of the Legislative Council in Maharashtra, Union Minister Raosaheb Danve told the workers, 'Do not assume that there will not be a BJP government in the state, I am telling you clearly what is coming. Our government is going to be formed in Maharashtra in two-three months and you guys will remember this.'
On 23 November last year, the BJP formed the government in Maharashtra, but this government was able to last only for 80 hours. During that time, after the BJP's 80-hour government fell, Shiv Sena-Congress-NCP shared a joint government in Maharashtra and Uddhav Thackeray became the Chief Minister.
