Mumbai: The Uddhav Thackeray government of the Shiv Sena has run into trouble because of the rebels. Eknath Shinde has formed his own faction and several Shiv Sena MLAs are seen with him. On the one hand, while the Shiv Sena has reached the Supreme Court to challenge the governor's plough test decision, a piece of big news has come out quoting sources here. According to sources, BJP leader and former CM of the state Devendra Fadnavis is likely to be sworn in as CM once again on July 3. With this, Eknath Shinde can be made deputy chief minister. He will also be sworn in on July 3.

Meanwhile, Fadnavis has also spoken to Raj Thackeray of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) over the phone. Fadnavis is reported to have sought Thackeray's support in the floor test. However, for the time being, the apex court will hear the Shiv Sena's plea at 5 pm today i.e. Wednesday. In fact, Shiv Sena chief whip Sunil Prabhu on Wednesday moved to the Supreme Court after the Maharashtra Governor directed CM Uddhav Thackeray to prove his majority in the assembly yesterday.

The rebel Shiv Sena MLAs, who have been camping in Guwahati for more than a week, will leave for Goa to appear for the floor test in the Maharashtra Assembly to be held tomorrow afternoon. According to sources, the rebel MLAs will fly to Goa before leaving for Mumbai and stay at the State's Taj Convention Hotel.
