The news of Popular TV actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee’s name in case of death of a Mumbai-based diamond merchant named Rajeshwar Udani is making round on internet. There were reports that Saath Nibhana Saathiya actress along with politician Sachin Pawar were called in by the police at the Pant Nagar Police Station in Ghatkopar to record their statements.

Earlier, There were several reports mentioning that Decoleena is being detained or arrested in the death case of the diamond merchant. However, the actress has refuted all the rumours. Actress told India Forums that she was not detained nor arrested, she was just called in to answer few questions. She also shared a picture on her Instagram page and told her fans through her caption that 'All is well'. The captioned read, "And all is well....thank you for all your love wishes..god bless you."

According to reports of Times of India, earlier, Devoleena's advocate, Falguni Brahmbhatt also issued a statement clearing her stand. The statement reads, "Some media houses have published a false story that in the said case my client has been arrested without verifying the facts and its authenticity which has not only tarnished Devoleena Bhattacharjee image and caused humiliation to her but it has caused a Hindrance and Prejudice in the entire case because of the inappropriate media reports.
