Saath Nibhana Sathiya has been in the headlines since the announcement of the second season. Actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee is going to be seen in this season. She plays the role of Gopi Bahu. The first promo of the serial has been released some time ago. Devoleena looks like Gopi Bahu's updated version. Now the actress has shared the first look of the first season of Saath Nibhaya Saathiya and the character of Gopi Bahu from the new season.

Devoleena took an entry in Saath Nibhana Saathiya in 2012. Prior to her on the show, Giaa Manek used to play Gopi Bahu. Giaa Manek was replaced by actress Devoleena. Now the actress has shared her picture in the role of Gopi Bahu of 2012. Also shared the picture of Gopi Bahu's look of the year 2020. While sharing the picture, the actress wrote "Gopi Bahu Look - 2012 and 2020".

Producer Rashmi has said that many new faces will be seen in Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2. There are lots of twists in the storyline as well. It will remain a family show and will revolve around the Modi family. However, when the producer was asked the question whether Kokilaben i.e. Rupal Patel will be a part of season 2. In response to this, the producer said- "This serial cannot return without the Modi family. Kokilaben and Gopi will return. Rupal Patel and Devoleena Bhattacharjee will be an important part of the serial".
