West Bengal- Howrah: The Ramakrishna Mission's Belur math, which was founded by Swami Vivekananda, commemorated the 125th Anniversary of the Ramakrishna Mission's Foundation On Sunday, May first.

The Belur math has seen a large influx of worshippers. "There is a lot of enthusiasm among them," said Swami Satyapriya Nanda, a monk at Belur Math in West Bengal's Howrah region.
Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister of West Bengal, also expressed her best wishes to the Ramakrishna Mission's monks and devotees. "On the occasion of the Order of the Ramakrishna Mission's 125th anniversary, I send my best wishes to the monks and devotees of the Order, as well as the entire student community associated with it." May Thakur- Ma- Swamiji's message continue to encourage us all," Mamata Banerjee tweeted.

Ramakrishna Mission and Ramakrishna Math are non-political, non-sectarian spiritual groups that have been engaged in various sorts of humanitarian and social service operations for more than a century. Sri Ramakrishna, the renowned Bengali saint of the nineteenth century, and his major disciple, Swami Vivekananda, one of the twentieth century's most influential philosophers and religious leaders, founded the organisations.
