More than 3 crore rupees were offered in the reserves opened after corona epidemic at Sanwariya ji in the popular Krishna Dham Chittorgarh district of Mewar. The same special thing is that after 3 months of lockdown, it came out in just 10 days. The store was opened at Sanwariya ji on 10th April last on Chaturdashi. Thereafter, due to corona epidemic, the darshan system of devotees in the temple was stopped which was again opened after 28th June as per the new guidelines.

The glory of Sanwariya Seth can be gauged from the fact that in just 10 days of the opening of the temple, bhandare yielded more than 31.2 crore offerings. In addition, 33 grams of gold and 1370 grams of silver jewellery were also offered. Like every month, a counting was started in the temple complex at bhandare, which was opened a day before Amavasya, in which the counting scene by the temple staff is normally closed to the devotees, but remains a centre of attraction and curiosity for all.

This place, popularly known as Shri Sanwariya ji Prakatya Sethal, also has its own history of the origin of 3 idols of Sanwariya Seth. In 1840, when a cacia tree was being cut down and dug up in Bagund village in the construction of a kutcha road from Udaipur to Chittor in the then Mewar state, 3 idols of Lord Krishna emerged from there. The flag was hoisted at the temple in 1978 in the presence of a grand crowd. A very beautiful and magnificent temple has now been built at this site. A grand peak of 36 feet high has been erected on which swarnajadti kalash and flag hoisting were carried out in February 2011.
