Ujjain: The month of Sawan is very important and this month worships Lord Shiva. Now today is the first Monday of Sawan which is considered very important. It is said that Bholenath should be worshipped wholeheartedly on the first Monday of Sawan. Now a large number of people have reached Mahakal and Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga in Madhya Pradesh for the puja today. The world-famous Pashupatinath temple in Mandsaur has also been crowded with visitors since morning. The entry has been made free till 11 am after seeing the crowd of devotees gathered outside the Mahakal temple in Ujjain.

Yes, the entry of devotees into the temple has been stopped after 11 o'clock. Now, at 4 p.m., the Mahakal ride will take place, and it will come back to the temple at 6 p.m. With this, devotees will be able to visit again from 7 pm to 9 pm. Due to the corona epidemic in the temple, only 5,000 people were to be admitted on pre-booking in the month of Sawan, but more than 15,000 devotees have visited Mahakal till 11 am on Monday of Sawan.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will also arrive today for Mahakal darshan. On 26th July, 02nd August, 09th August, 16th August, 23rd August, 30th August and 6th September, Mahakal darshan will be from 6 am to 11 am by pre-booking. At the same time, the counters of early darshan of Rs.250 will remain closed during this period. On the other hand, lord Omkar's first ride is about to take place today. Let me tell you that on the second Monday of Sawan, it is decided to adorn the Lord Omkar and on the third Monday, 251 litres of Panchamrit is going to be performed at Kotitirth Ghat in the presence of Vedic scholars.

With this, on the fourth Monday of Sawan, Omkar ji's palanquin will sail from Kotitirth ghat to Omkar Ghat and from there the yatra will conclude at Jyotirlinga Temple via the main market.
