DGCA's big order due to coronavirus, says 'Indians went to China before January 15'

Beijing: Corona virus outbreak continues in China. So far 700 people have died in China due to the Corona virus, while thousands of people have been infected with this virus. The Controller of Aviation Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has said on Saturday that foreigners who have arrived in China before January 15 will not be allowed to visit India.

The DGCA has issued a circular saying that all visas issued to Chinese citizens before 5 February are suspended. The DGCA has clarified that these visa restrictions do not apply to members of the air crew, who may be Chinese or foreign nationals arriving from China. According to the DGCA order, foreigners traveling to China on or after January 15, 2020 are not allowed to enter India through any flight, land or port, including the Indo-Nepal, Indo-Bhutan, Indo-Bangladesh or Indo-Myanmar borders. 

According to the news agency PTI, Indin Air Line, Indigo and Air India have cancelled all flights to China. Spice Jet's flights will continue on the Delhi-Hong Kong route. On 1 February, Air India made a landing in Wuhan province of China via two special aircraft, through which 647 Indians were brought from Wuhan to India. 7 people of Maldives were also evacuated by India from Wuhan. So far only 3 Indians have come under the influence of Coronavirus.
