New Delhi: Aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has imposed a penalty of Rs 10 lakh on Vistara Airlines. The case is said to be related to a violation of takeoff and landing clearance given to the officers before any training. It is being told that the Vistara Airlines flight was being landed in Indore without any training. A penalty of Rs.10 lakh has been imposed on the airlines for this lapse.

In fact,  the DGCA has imposed a fine of Rs 10 lakh on airline company Vistara accusing it of breaking the safety rules. The DGCA said that the clearance for take-off and landing was given by Vistara Airlines without the necessary training. The officer is trained before landing the aircraft in the simulator. In the same way, just like the officer before landing, the captain is trained in the simulator itself. It is alleged that the aircraft used to land without training the officer and the captain in the simulator. In such a situation, there is a risk of accident at the time of onboarding.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) had also imposed a fine of Rs 10 lakh on SpiceJet on May 30. In April, the DGCA had sent a show-cause notice to SpiceJet, which was not met with a satisfactory response.
