According to the information, Dhoni said that if wearing his sacrifice gloves violates any provision of the International Cricket Council's rule book, they will happily take these gloves off. It is understood that, in the match against South Africa, Mahendra Singh Dhoni had planted the sacrifice badge on his wicketkeeping gloves. Following which, on Thursday, the ICC removed Apil's Dhoni from BCCI on his gloves and landed in the next match, which had caused ruckus all over the country.

As per the information received, the ICC said that Dhoni's imposition of a sacrifice badge on his gloves is against his rules. The statement issued by the ICC said that Dhoni has broken two ICC rules by wearing gloves with ' sacrifice ' marks. ICC has said that the rules of the ICC event do not allow a private message or logo to be shown on any goods or clothes. Also, the mark breaks the rules issued with the wicketkeeper's gloves.
