Did Ross and Rachel really date each other off-screen, or did Phoebe and Joey's on-screen chemistry was because they were dating in real life? Throughout watching the 10 seasons of the much-popular sitcom, most of us have wondered if the cast ever dated each other, or at least hooked up. It's been 27 years since the first episode of the much-loved show aired on TV, and finally, the cast is reuniting for an exciting evening. With just hours to go before we see our favourite characters back on screen, David Schwimmer (Ross) and Matthew Perry (Chandler) spill the beans and answer the much-asked question.

During an interview with Access, just ahead of the reunion, Matthew Perry revealed that there was a pact of not hooking up with each other. The actor, who plays the role of Chandler in the series, revealed that the six of them were really good friends and it was important to keep it that way so as not to make it awkward.

Matthew was quoted saying, "There was. There was a rule that we had, it was really important to the six of us that we kept a friendship, that we were friends. And if we were hooking up or there was any strangeness going on, that might mess with things. So we kept a friendship and we did become really good friends. And we are really good friends to this day. And we kept that going. And that was really important. Jim Burrows [director] initiated that and we kept that going."

David soon chipped in and said there was an unspoken rule of not hooking up, while Matt LeBlanc said that they were more like siblings!
