Salman Khan, who is said to be Bollywood's Dabangg Khan, is currently busy shooting for his next film 'Tiger 3'. Bhaijaan has gone to Russia to shoot for the film. The film is being directed by Manish Sharma and the film will once again feature Katrina Kaif along with Salman Khan. Though Salman's Tiger series films have been loved a lot you hardly know that Congress leader Shashi Tharoor was also offered a role in a film.
In fact, Shashi Tharoor once said in an interview, 'He was offered the role of external affairs minister in Salman Khan's film but he refused to do it.' At the same time, in this interview, he also said, 'I was offered the role of foreign minister in Salman's film. But I was told by a friend of mine - don't play him if you want to be external affairs minister. I thought it was right and so I refused to do this role.'
Shashi Tharoor is said to have worked with Salman Khan. In fact, both of them were seen in the film 'Andaz Apna Apna'. However, Shashi Tharoor said, 'I have no chance of being in that film because I had been working at the United Nations for many years then.' Shashi Tharoor, however, did meet Salman during a flight and also took a selfie with him. This selfie has been going viral on social sites till now.
