New Delhi: Due to the Corona epidemic, India's economy has suffered greatly. There was no change in the price of petrol and diesel on Wednesday amid the softening of crude oil. However, diesel is still selling 35 paise more expensive than petrol in Delhi. Petrol in Delhi is priced at Rs 80.43, while diesel costs Rs 80.78. On Tuesday, the price of diesel increased by 25 paise.

In Delhi and Kolkata, the price of diesel was increased by 25 paise, in Mumbai by 22 paise and in Chennai by 19 paise per liter. However, the price of petrol remained stable in the meantime. In June last month, the price of diesel was increased 22 times and the price of petrol increased 21 times. According to the website of Indian Oil, the price of diesel in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Chennai is stable at Rs 80.78, Rs 75.89, Rs 79.05, and Rs 77.91 per liter respectively.

While the price of petrol remains Rs 80.43, Rs 82.10, Rs 87.19 and Rs 83.63 per liter in the four metros respectively. The September futures contract of benchmark crude oil Brent crude on the international futures market Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) was trading at $ 42.61 a barrel, down 1.14% from the previous session on Tuesday, while before the price of Brent was up to $ 42.50 a barrel. Brent had closed at $ 42.63 per barrel on June 23, two weeks earlier.
