Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has strongly attacked the BJP over the Citizenship Act and the National Register of Citizens. He said that there is a rift between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah over the National Register of Citizens, which has caused the country to suffer. That NRC will apply and Prime Minister says that NRC will not apply.

But after answering, he asked that the question is about who is telling the truth and who is telling lies. The Prime Minister is saying that he is right that the Home Minister is saying that he is right. He claimed that there has been estrangement between the two and due to this the whole country is suffering and there is a need to be vigilant.

Apart from this, Baghel said that today there is inflation in the country, there is recession, there is unemployment, but it is not being discussed. Discussion of citizenship is happening. You are a citizen of India, this question is going to be the biggest insult to you. Asking what is the date of birth of your parents, how many people can tell what is the date of birth of their parents. He said that a large number of people live below the poverty line in Chhattisgarh. They do not have land. Their parents were illiterate. How will he certify when he has not gone to school? And when it is not certified, then we will appreciate that the application again is making you Hindustani.
