Patna: The festivals of Diwali and Chhath are coming up. These two festivals are of special importance to Bihar, but the Chhath festival is the hallmark of Bihar, but it is going to be very expensive for people living far and wide and away from the village. In fact, the fare for flights to Patna has increased by four times. The bottom line is that the fare for the festive season has gone up from different cities to Patna and is beyond the reach of the common people. There is also a lot of congestion in trains, which is also causing problems with reservations.

As per the information received, the fares of all flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Lucknow to Eastern Pradesh Bihar are currently increasing manifold. As the capital, only Patna has been seen as the capital, the fare here has gone up to four times the normal from Mumbai and three times that of Lucknow. On the other hand, Delhi fares are twice normal and Hyderabad is 2. It is running 5 times. The increase in flight fares is almost visible from October 30 to around the Chhath festival.

The festival of Vijayadashmi has increased the rush from Patna to other metros including Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad. At the same time, the number of people coming for the Diwali and the Chhath Puja festival has also increased considerably. As a result, air travel fares have doubled to two and a half times. There is a long waiting list of people travelling in the train. Now the crowd in Patna Delhi bus has increased even more. Two BSRTC buses from Patna go and arrive in Delhi every day. One is a sleeper and the other is a seater.
