Indore: Corona is progressing at an uncontrolled pace in MP. On Monday, 9451 new corona positives were found across the state. The maximum number of 2024 positive patients have been found in the capital Bhopal yesterday. Where till now the maximum number of infected patients were being found in Indore, now Bhopal has overtaken Indore in terms of infection. 1963 new cases came to light in Indore yesterday. 840 new corona positives were found in Jabalpur and 411 in Gwalior. On Monday, out of 72382 investigation reports, 9451 reports came positive in the state. At the same time 7 patients died. 8667 diseases were cured. The infection rate was recorded at 13.07 percent while the recovery rate is 90.06 percent.

The same Rajya Sabha MP and former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh is also in the grip of Corona virus. He informed about this by sharing the post on his social media handle. On Monday, Shahdol MP Himadri Singh was also found to be Corona positive. There are 1193 patients admitted in state hospitals, out of which only 15 percent patients are in need of oxygen. There are fewer patients admitted in Indore than Bhopal but more serious. Out of 1193 infected patients, 179 patients are on oxygen support. According to the health department data, 284 patients are admitted in Indore and 295 in Bhopal.

In Bhopal hospitals, only 53 patients are in need of oxygen, while in Indore 87 patients are on oxygen. With this, so far 914195 people have become positive from Corona in the state, while 832742 people have recovered. So far 10583 patients have lost their lives due to corona.
