Mumbai: Dilip Chhabria, the country's largest car designer and founder of DC Design, was arrested on Monday night in a fraud case. Today he is going to be presented in Mumbai Sessions Court. There are also reports that today the Mumbai Police may demand his custody. A luxury car belonging to Dilip Chhabria has also been seized.
After his arrest, he was kept at the Mumbai Police Headquarters all night and this has been told by a senior IPS officer. It is reported that a case has been registered against Dilip Chhabria under sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 120 (B) and 34. Sources say that Mumbai Police can hold a press conference in this matter today and can tell more information.
Dilip Chhabria is the one who designed India's first sports car. He is a young man who designs everything from cars to luxury buses. He has designed cars ranging from Amitabh Bachchan to Shah Rukh Khan. Apart from the car, he also designs luxurious vanity vans of prominent personalities. Dilip's designed cars and vanity vans sell for crores. His client list also includes stars like comedians Kapil Sharma, Madhuri Dixit, Hrithik Roshan.
