Kolkata: The uproar has started over a statement by West Bengal BJP unit president Dilip Ghosh. He made this statement regarding the violence in Cooch Behar during the fourth phase of voting in West Bengal. Dilip Ghosh said that if naughty boys do not believe and take the law into their own hands, then an event like Cooch Behar could also happen in the next phase. 

Actually, on 10 April, voting was held in 44 seats in West Bengal. On that day violence erupted in Sitalakuchi in Cooch Behar. After this, the central security forces had to shoot, in which four people died. Dilip Ghosh's statement about this incident has come to the fore. At an event in Baranagar in the North 24 Parganas district, Dilip Ghosh said, "Where do these naughty boys come from? These naughty boys were shot in Sitalakuchi. These boys will not stay in Bengal for long". 

Ghosh further said that these mischievous boys felt that the soldiers of the central forces engaged in election duty kept rifles in their hands only to show. After watching the Sitalakuchi incident, he will not be tempted to make such a mistake again. "He said that whoever dares to take the law into his own hands, the same will happen to him. He warned that such an incident should happen in the fifth phase also.
