Dilip Joshi who appears in the famous comedy-drama show ' Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma' has shared his childhood experience about the 9 days long Navratri festival. In an interview he with a smile on his face he said that how he used to decorate his home with buntings and flowers. And the preparation for Navratri would begin 15 days prior to the festival. In fact, everyone would voluntarily help decorate the area and participate in arrangements. Sometimes, we would have to send people back because there was so much of help.
He further added that by saying that “We never had film songs playing during garba. We would dance to live dhol and shehnai. The essence of live music is something these speakers cannot replace. I remember performing Garba during Mataji’s bhajans. And, we used to have a great time. There were no time limits, we would start only after 10 pm and the programmes would go on till 2 am to 3 am. I would be the first one to go home as I was the only one who had early morning school”.
Dilip Joshi who is busy on his show and he also misses the theatre as well which he used to do earlier he was also seen in the hit movies doing comedy role in 'Hum Aapke Hai Kaun'.
