Diljit Dosanjh, a very powerful actor from Punjab is a brilliant actor today. Punjabi actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh, who is known for his versatility, says he still doesn't believe he is a star and prefers to speak only an 'artist'.

Talking about his stardom recently, Diljit said, "I don't consider myself a star in the Punjabi film industry. I don't believe in stardom. I am an artist and working in the same way," he said, adding, "It's been a good journey. I've spent nearly three years in the industry. It's been a lot of fun. I'm getting good work. Let's see where I find myself five years from today.' All of you have seen Diljit in real life from films to turbans.

On the question of the usual typecast in Bollywood, Diljit said, "It must have happened before, but I never thought I was being told a different way. I never thought I was typecast. I've done all sorts of films - 'Phillauri', 'Uddta Punjab', 'Soorma', 'Arjun Patiala' and 'Good News.' I don't know why such things happened earlier, but thank God it's not."  And his film 'Arjun Patiala' has been released on July 26.
