Dipa Karmakar, the Indian gymnast is going to miss out the Asian Championships next month as ahead of it, she has suffered from a knee injury.
She itself has confirmed the news and took to Twitter to tell about it. In a tweet she wrote "Hi everyone, there is an update. I recently got injured during practice and underwent an ACL surgery. Rehab has started and I will be back soon,"
The Asian Championship 2017 is scheduled to held between May 18 to May 21 in Bangkok, Thailand.
