Motichoor Chaknachoor of Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Athiya Shetty released recently has received a mixed response from audiences and critics. Now another controversy related to this film is coming out. Debmitra Biswal, the director of this film is appealing to people to watch this film at their own risk because they say that it is not the film they made. Debmitra and the producer of the film have been at loggerheads for quite some time now. The producer alleges that Debamitra tried to sell the film rights to the film distributor without permission.

On the other hand, Debamitra appealed to stop the release of the film as he claimed that he was not paid his wages. Debamitra even appealed that his name is removed from the director's credit. Now Debamitra has written a long post about this on Facebook. He has appealed to the people in his post to watch the film at their own risk as it is not his film. He has said that he will not be responsible for the 'sent fry' of the audience.

'Motichoor Chaknachoor' is released on 15 November. In this, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Athiya Shetty are seen in a different avatar. The story of the film is of a desi man named Nawazuddin i.e. Pushpendra Tyagi who wants to get married in every situation. On the other hand, there is Athiya i.e. Annie and she is also very excited about marriage. But her condition is that the boy she married should be an NRI. Eventually, she marries Pushpendra.
