Debmitra and the producer of the film have been at loggerheads for quite some time now. The producer alleges that Debamitra tried to sell the film rights to the film distributor without permission.

He has said that he will not be responsible for the 'sent fry' of the audience.

The story of the film is of a desi man named Nawazuddin i.e. Pushpendra Tyagi who wants to get married in every situation.
