Prashant, the well-known film director of South Cinema, always remain in discussions due to his films. Prashant's first film was 'Ah!'. He has won national awards. He is currently busy shooting for his third film. 'Ah!' was acclaimed audiences and critics alike with his first two films 'Ah!' And 'Kalki'. He is now making a film based on real-life events. The film 'Zombie Reddy' is a different title. Prashant released the title logo in a style similar to Hollywood-produced back-watering animation. This is the first zombie film in Telugu.
The recently released title and animation received tremendous response from the audience. However, director Prashant Verma himself wrote an official note stating that the team attributed the title 'Zombie Reddy' to a community. Sharing it as a Twitter platform, he said that it was not a film that would misrepresent any community. Recently, our movie title was announced as 'Zombie Reddy'. It received an amazing response. It was trending nationally on Twitter. The title was great, there were a lot of calls and messages. We are all happy with the result of the team's hard work, but some people are misunderstanding the title.
He said, "This is an exciting film. The story takes place in the backdrop of Kurnool, which revolves around the Corona epidemic, which is currently killing too many people and made infected. We see many films of this type of epidemic in Hollywood. The story takes place in the background like New York. I choose Kurnool as a backdrop. The main point is that if such a massacre happens in Kurnool, how will the people there fight, stop this massacre and save the whole world. The story of Kurnool has been highlighted in the film. Please do not misunderstand the title. Certainly, no caste differences are being shown in this film". Prashant Verma said if my first film was 'Ah!' gets a national identity, I believe that this film will get international recognition.
