On Sunday the first teaser of one of the most awaited movies of the year, South Star Prabhas starring Adipurush was released but it was welcomed with more negative views than positive views as some people are very disappointed with Saif Ali Khan being caste as Ravana and some are very disappointed with the VFX of the film.

After the teaser resulted in a meme surfaced on the internet. Some religious leaders are also very disappointed by the team o Adipurush Mahant Raju Das, a supreme religious leader in Ayodhya stated that Ravana was equally evil as compared to the Mughal invaders and therefore felt that there was no problem with the actor portraying the character in a beard.

Meanwhile on the other hand another religious Leader Jagadguru Paramhans, on the other hand, mentioned Saif playing Ravana in the attire of a Mughal warrior does injustice to the character since he was believed to a devout of Lord Shiva and a scholar. Pithadhishwar Swami

Vivek Acharya from Dant Kund, Ayodhya stated that filmmakers have always been proddingand making fun of the religious sentiments in their films for a long time. Questioning the justice provided to the characters portrayed in a Hindu mythological film, he mentioned that Lord Ram had advised Laxman to learn from Ravana before his demise, so will the filmmakers try to display Islam the same way as Santan dharma?

Disappointing Adipurush Hastag

The hashtag Disappointing Adipurush  reached Twitter’s trending tab as netizens trolled the movie. They even shared memes and jokes to take jibes at the makers One user wrote, “My respect for #Brahmashtra and #Raone is increased after watching #Adipurush teaser. Another tweet read, , “After watching #Adipurush Teaser, I can tell #Brahmashtra VFX was far better than this. Even the Actor/Actress doesn’t look real in #Adipurush Teaser. If you are making a film on #Ramayan then please make it well. 500CR Spent where? In This Cartoon. #DisappointingAdipurish.”

Third one wrote, “I just saw #Adipurush teaser and it’s very disappointing. It doesn’t even look like Ramayan. Very ordinary VFX, mostly copied from Hollywood movies. Saif as Ravan is worst, acting like villains of Spider-Man. Hanuman ji looks like monkey King and Prabhash as Shri Ram is -_-.”

Adipurush is a multilingual saga based on an Indian Hindu mythological epic, Ramayana. Adipurush cast includes Kriti Sanon, Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh in the lead role. Prabhas plays the Hindu god Lord Ram and Saif Ali Khan will play Lankesh. ‘Adipurush’ is set to hit theatres on January 12, 2023.
