In view of the rise in the same cases, the Delhi government on Wednesday made it mandatory to wear masks in public places. It has also been asked to impose a fine of Rs 500 on the violators. Officials said the Delhi Disaster Management Authority in its meeting also decided not to close down schools. But in consultation with the experts, it was decided to come up with a separate standard operating procedure.
