In India, carmakers are giving big discounts on new car purchases around Diwali this year. Despite the ongoing chip issue, which has resulted in lower output and longer wait times for new vehicles, Indian automakers are doing everything they can to capitalize on the current festive season.

Here's an offer of what each manufacturer is giving this year as part of its Diwali vehicle sales:

Maruti Suzuki:

Maruti Suzuki is reducing the prices of up to eight of its current models. Its S-Presso and Alto coffees provide the biggest savings. On a new S-Presso, Maruti is providing up to 48,000 advantages, while the old warhorse Alto is available at a discount of 43,000. Customers may also get holiday discounts on the Eeco, WagonR, Swift, Dzire, Ignis, and Vitara Brezza.

Hyundai Motor Company:

This Christmas season, the Korean automaker is giving incentives of up to 1.50 lakh on new automobiles. This month, discounts are only available on five of its vehicles, including the Kona SUV, which is the company's only electric vehicle. The Hyundai Kona, which starts at Rs 23.79 lakh (ex-showroom), is being given with a maximum benefit of Rs 1.50 lakh. Santro, i20, Grand i10 NIOS, and Aura are the other Hyundai cars with discounts this holiday season. Hyundai is also giving discounts on the Aura, Santro, and Grand i20 Nios CNG vehicles.

Renault:

The French automaker is attempting to capitalise on the festive season in India by offering discounts of up to 2.50 lakh rupees. Renault's flagship SUV, the Duster, has the biggest markdown. Duster provides one of the most attractive offers for clients wanting to buy a new car around Diwali, with cash benefits of up to 50,000 and a loyalty incentive of up to 1.10 lakh. Other Renault cars, like Triber, Kiger and Kwid, are also offered on heavy discounts.

This Diwali, Datsun is offering seasonal discounts on its Go, Go , and RediGo vehicles. The automaker is providing up to 40,000 in perks for these vehicles, including cash, corporate benefits, and an exchange bonus.

Besides the City, Honda is also offering discounts on models like the Jazz, WR-V and the recently launched Amaze facelift.

Mahindra and Mahindra:

In October, Mahindra & Mahindra is giving festive discounts on just a limited number of siz models. The Alturas G4 SUV, which competes against the Toyota Fortuner and the MG Gloster, is being provided with up to 81,500 in holiday bonuses. Additional deals worth up to 20,000 are among the perks.
