Bangalore: HD Kumaraswamy's government is under threat in Karnataka. Assembly Speaker Ramesh Kumar has ordered that the vote of confidence will be held by 6 PM today. But when the House met on Tuesday morning, the Congress and JDS MLAs staged a discussion on demonetisation. All eyes are on what will happen in the floor test in the Assembly, while the debate on demonetisation is going on in the House.

Assembly Speaker Ramesh Kumar had on Tuesday asked all the MLAs to come at 10 am to take forward the discussion which is going on in the Assembly. Meanwhile, when Congress MLAs started speaking, they started debating the demonetisation that was introduced in 2016 and how it was implemented. The legislators are discussing in the House how the demonetisation is affecting jobs so far and how government schemes are not being implemented.

Not only that, Congress MLA Ishwar Kandre is currently discussing in the House that demonetisation was a kind of crime. On Monday, Speaker Ramesh Kumar had said that the motion of confidence would be discussed by 4 p.m. Tuesday. After that, CM HD Kumaraswamy will make a statement and then go to the polls by 6 PM.
