Toolkit Case: Ravi sent in 3-day judicial custody, police bid 'ignorant to answer'

New Delhi: Disha Ravi, who was detained in the ToolKit case, was sent to judicial custody for three days on Friday. On completion of the period of police custody, the police produced the direction in Patiala House Court. The court gave its verdict while hearing the case. The police said before the court that she wanted to interrogate Disha in the presence of Shantanu and Nikita.

Delhi Police today asked the court for three days custody of Disha, told the court that Disha Ravi comes to answer questions. Police also sent a notice to Shantanu, the other accused in the case. Mukul and Jacob have been asked to appear before the investigating agency on February 22. In such a situation, Disha will be confronted with him because, in the interrogation, Disha has accused Nikita and Shantanu of all things.

At the same time, Siddharth Agarwal pleaded in the case on behalf of Disha. She demanded to present the case diary. The court was told that Disha Ravi has applied for bail, which will come up for hearing on February 20. Disha Ravi is accused of editing the toolkit related to the farmers' movement. On February 13, the Cyber Cell team of Delhi Police arrested the direction from the Soladevanahalli area of Bangalore. She is a graduate from BBA and is also a founding member of an organization called 'Fridays for Future India'.
