District panchayat APO caught taking bribe in Gaushala construction

The Lokayukta police has taken into custody the red-handed hands on Friday, taking a bribe of 36 thousand rupees to the APO of Tayanthar Janpad Panchayat in the district. APO Vijay Tripathi was demanding a bribe from the complainant in lieu of pending bill payment.

Whose complaint was made with the Lokayukta police. According to the plan, the APO has been detained by the Lokayukta police taking cash. Necessary actions were taken under the Corruption Act against the seized amount of bribe. Complainant Umesh Tiwari said that he had supplied material for the construction of the Gaushala building in the village panchayat, Farhandi whose bill of 8 lakh 55 thousand was made.

After which, talking to APO for bill payment, the demand of 40 thousand rupees as a bribe was made. The matter was settled in 36 thousand with negotiation. Later, he made a complaint about it to the local police. As soon as the matter was learned, the complainant was handed over the bribe amount, and the Lokayukta police team arrested APO Vijay Tripathi.
