A few months back Bigg Boss OTT winner Divya Agarwal and actor Varun Sood shocked fans with the sudden announcement of their split. The couple never spoke as to why they broke up suddenly after dating for over four years. We have also witnessed them talking about their wedding in interviews but eventually it did not work out. Few months before their split Divya Agarwal’s father died and Varun and his family supported him throughout that sour time.
Divya has now come out in the open and for the first time ever she spoke about her split with Varun and revealed the reason behind their break-up. She said in an interview to a news portal, “I could not see my future with Varun, and for that reason I decided to end the relationship on a good note. It was my decision to put the news of our break–up on social media and I received a lot of hatred for my decision and to be vocal about it."
Divya, who has been doing good in her career ever since she won Bigg Boss OTT, further said that she would get 'abused' but she chose to ignore all the chaos.
Varun and Divya are still on good terms and have a friendly relationship. They have been seen together on various occasions even after their break-up. Following their split, Divya said many of her followers charge with Varun of cheating on the actress. Divya came out in his support and responded to the trolls.
For those who are unaware of the break-up note Divya had written back then: “Life is such a circus! Try and keep everyone happy, expect nothing in return that’s true but what happens when the self love starts declining?? No I don’t blame anyone for anything that’s happening to me... I feel worked up... And that’s okay... I want to breathe n live for myself for once... That’s okay! I hereby formally declare that I’m on my own in this life and would like to take my time to live the way I want to! No, it’s not always necessary to have big statements, excuses and reasons for a decision. It’s just my choice to step out of it. I really value and love all the happy moments I have spent with him. He’s a great guy! He will always be my best friend. Please respect my decision..”
