Famous TV actress Divyanka Tripathi is a famous name in the entertainment world. She has been associated with many projects and 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' is one of her most memorable serials. However, Divyanka has also seen struggle in the early stages of her career. She had protested how she faced the casting cows, so she was threatened a lot.
In one of her interviews, the actress revealed about the casting couch that when you end a show, the struggle starts all over again. There was a time when there was no money, they had to pay bills, EMIs etc. Divyanka said there was a lot of pressure, and then an offer came, 'You have to stick with this director and you will get a big break'. But the actress immediately rejected such offers.
The actress further revealed that this happened to her before the #MeToo campaign and she was also threatened by such people to spoil her career. Divyanka said that people who make these kinds of offers convince you in such a way that everyone in the industry is doing it. Thus they lure you that if you don't do that you will be left behind. She further explained that they sometimes go to such a level that if you don't do that we will ruin your career. Divyanka, however, laughed at such petty threats and says that her talent will get recognition and she will get work on that basis.
