Jaipur: The Rajasthan government has issued new guidelines in view of Diwali. According to the new guideline, the government has once again banned bursting firecrackers on Diwali. The Rajasthan government has also banned the firing of firecrackers for the next four months, which is being opposed. The government has amended its decision slightly in view of the protests.

Earlier firecrackers were completely banned, now the Rajasthan government has lifted the ban on it. In Rajasthan, the decision to ban fireworks for four months has been changed. The government has allowed the burning of green firecrackers along with giving concession in fireworks. The government has only allowed the burning of green crackers within the stipulated time. The government has allowed the bursting of crackers on Christmas, New Year from 11.55 am to 12.30 pm. At the same time, crackers can be burst from 8 to 10 pm on Guru Parv. On the other hand, the concession has been given to burn green crackers from 6 am to 8 am at the Chhath festival. At the same time, in view of the pollution in the capital Delhi, there is a complete ban on the burning of crackers on Diwali. The Delhi Pollution Control Committee has banned the sale and burning of crackers in Delhi. This ban is applicable till January 2022. Also Haryana, and the Odisha government has also banned it.

 
What are green crackers?

Green crackers cause less pollution than normal firecrackers. A certificate is issued by the Government for the production of these firecrackers. These firecracker boxes are fitted with a green logo and QR code, which you can easily scan and identify. The certificate for these firecrackers is issued by the CSIR-NEERI.
