Setting out to define yourself as a DJ is not easy. There are already a lot of them. So, how can you stand out from the pack and make a place for yourself? Well, we know someone who can help you find the answer to this: DJ Rackish. Being a self-made DJ, who could guide you better than him? 

DJ Rackish started his journey from zero, but his devotion to his passion was the greatest armour. Passing on a few pieces of advice to be a successful DJ, Rackish says, "Being a DJ is like any other profession. You have to be talented and incredibly keen to pursue the same. Because nothing, absolutely nothing can make you successful other than your fondness for DJing and music."

Rackish further added, "I wish I could say that the best way was to practice more and more, but the truth is nothing like that. It's also about getting your name out there and being consistent in your approach. Go to social media. Showcase your talent and let people know who you are."

Social media has given people immense power and boosted the careers of innumerable people. Well, DJ Rackish himself has a social media presence. From Instagram to YouTube and everything in between, he made sure people saw him wherever they went. Besides these, Rackish also added, "One more important thing you shouldn't forget is to connect with the audience. You are performing for them, and your talent is the only way to win their hearts. Bring your best every time you are standing before them." 

DJ Rackish aka Rakesh Kukreja hails from Pune, Maharashtra, and his fascination for DJing was aroused after watching Fat Boy Slim spinning live. DJ Rackish has performed at a myriad of clubs, including Kue Bar- the Westin, Sin Envy Pride, Oak Lounge, Penthouse, 1 Lounge, Rock Pool, Loft 38, 02, Kyro, Stone Water Grill, Mi-A-mi (JW Marriott, Pune), China House, and also at international clubs like Fahrenheit- Doha and Times Cafe- Dubai.
