Bangalore: Senior Congress leader DK Shivkumar has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate in a disproportionate assets case. The ED has asked him to appear in Delhi at 1 pm today. Yesterday, the Karnataka High Court had dismissed a petition filed by him. In the petition, Shivkumar had sought dismissal of the summons of the ED. Now that the petition has been dismissed, they will have to appear before the ED. On summons, Shivkumar said, he had requested the court that it was a simple income tax case. I have already filed income tax returns.

There is no case of Prevention of Money Laundering (PMLA). Last night, he sent me a summons to come to Delhi at one o'clock. I respect the law. "For the past two years, the entire property of my 84-year-old mother has been attached to the Benami property by various investigating officers and I am Benami in it. All our blood has already been sucked. '

Meanwhile, supporters have started gathering outside Shivkumar's residence in Bengaluru. "I have not done anything illegal. BJP leaders have said on record that they are going to harass me. Let them enjoy giving me trouble. I will participate and cooperate. I am busy till this afternoon and after that I will leave for Delhi. Last year, ED had registered a money laundering case against Shivkumar and others. Shivkumar is a veteran Congress leader in Karnataka. The JD(S-Congress) was one of the most important architects of government formation.
