Administration raids in Beur jail, mobile and sim card recovered from former minister

Patna: A raid was conducted under the leadership of the District Magistrate on Wednesday morning at Beur Jail in Patna, the capital of Bihar. As the news of the raid spread, there was a stir in the jail. The intensive search of the jail was conducted for about four hours under the leadership of District Magistrate Chandrashekhar Singh. According to information from jail sources, two mobile phones have been recovered during the raid.

Giving information, sources have said that mobile, SIM card, and red diary have been recovered from the former MLA Vijay Krishna, accused in the transporter Satyendra Singh murder case. The numbers of dozens of people are recorded in this diary. Apart from this, detailed information of five bank accounts has also been found. A case has been registered against former MLA Vijay Krishna in Beur Thane regarding this matter. It was raided in Siwan district jail on Wednesday morning under the leadership of DM Amit Kumar Pandey and SP Abhinav Kumar. A large number of police officers were also involved in this raid campaign which ran from 5 am to 6:30 am.

Intensive checking of each ward located in the jail premises was done. Especially toilets and restaurants were also checked. According to information received from the jail sources, during the raid, two knives, two belts, two hooks and khaini, one earphone, and one mobile charging pin are being reported in unclaimed condition. A written complaint has been made by the jail administration regarding the disputed items found in the local police station. Jail Superintendent Sanjeev Kumar also confirmed this.
