New Delhi: Monkeys have wreaked havoc in many parts of Delhi. The endangered monkeys tear the drying clothes on the roofof the houses and take away the food items from their hands, people have to go through this problem two or four times a day. The number of monkeys in Chhatarpur area of South Delhi is very high due to which people face a lot of trouble.
The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has now explored a new way to counter the menace of these monkeys. 500 bedded Sardar Patel Covid Care Centre, Radha Swami Beas, Chhatarpur, New Delhi has installed cut outs of langurs so that monkeys do not come in. Corona infected patients are being treated at itbp covid care centre set up in Chhatarpur area. More than 500 patients are said to have been taken care of. The group of monkeys revolves around this centre and sometimes creates trouble for volunteers working at the centre.
Monkeys try to attack persons in PPE kits at ITBP Covid Care Centre. Cut outs of langurs have been specially installed to avoid these problems. Which are planted daily at new places in such a way that monkeys feel that they are real. A new way of ITBP soldiers is proving to be extremely effective.
