Do terrorists need a 'reason' to attack? Know why ISIS attacked the Gurudwara

Kabul: Terror group ISIS has tried to pin the blame on suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma for the terror attack on a gurudwara in Afghanistan's capital Kabul. According to the terror outfit Islamic State, the attack on the gurdwara has been carried out in protest against the controversial remarks made by Nupur Sharma on Prophet Mohammad. Let us know that in this terrorist attack on June 18, 2022 (Saturday), 2 people lost their lives and 7 others were injured.

According to the report, the claim has been made on a telegram channel linked to local ISIS terrorists. According to the claim, "This terrorist attack on the gurudwara in the Taliban-ruled country was done to avenge the statement of Nupur Sharma. However, this is not the first incident of attacks on the shrines of Sikhs. Earlier in March 2020, terrorists had attacked a gurudwara in The Shor Bazar area of Afghanistan. 29 people lost their lives in the attack. Isis also claimed responsibility for the attack. The attacker's name in the terror attack was Khalid al-Hindi, who was originally said to be a resident of India. He had then called the attack a revenge for the atrocities being committed against Muslims in Kashmir.

At the same time, in October 2021, the Taliban had forcibly entered a gurudwara and threatened the devotees present there. This was the same Karte Parwan Gurudwara in Kabul, where ISIS has now carried out a terrorist attack. At that time, the Sikh community all over the world had demanded that India raise its voice at the international level on this issue. At that time, no comment was made by Nupur Sharma on the Prophet.

Let us know that on August 15, 2021, the Taliban took over Afghanistan, since then there has been an atmosphere of fear and panic. In October 2021, Sikhs of Afghanistan were given 2 options. Either they leave the country or else they will accept Islam. However, even before the taliban came in, the situation of Sikhs in Afghanistan was pathetic. No government could provide them security. In 1990, the houses of most Afghan Sikhs were forcibly occupied. At the same time, after the arrival of the Taliban rule, most of the Sikhs have fled from Afghanistan and come to India. From Iraq to Syria and from Afghanistan to Yemen and African countries, there are terrorist attacks everywhere, which have no reason, or these terrorists give a reason according to their mind, but the reality is that they have to spread terror, whether there is a reason or not. But what these terrorists want to achieve by taking the lives of people, is a big question before the whole world.
