The bank has made it clear that if you have not completed your KYC yet, then get it done immediately or else your account will be frozen. The bank had tweeted a few days ago in this regard and asked its customers to complete KYC. For the past several months, the bank has been asking its customers to update their KYC.
The bank tweeted that as per rbi guidelines, all customers are required to update KYC. To complete this work, the bank has fixed the last date of August 31, 2022. According to the bank, if your account has not been updated with KYC by March 31, 2022, then complete it by August 31, 2022. Contact your parent branch to update KYC. If you do not update KYC, you will not be able to transact money from your account.
Actually, under KYC, the bank asks for the details of its customers. Every six months or one year, the bank asks its customers to fill out the KYC form. In the KYC form, customers have to fill in their name, bank account number, PAN card number, Aadhaar card number, mobile number and complete address. You can update your KYC by visiting the bank's branch. In the bank, you will find KYC forms, fill it out and attach the necessary documents along with it and submit it. Your KYC is updated within 3 days of submission of the form.
