By the way, bhang, dhatura, and belpatra are offered to please Lord Shiva. It is said that no special sweets are offered to Bholenath. Indeed, it is believed that Lord Shiva is pleased only by offering bhang and dhatura.

You all must know that Lord Shiva has been called Neelkanth. That is because during the sagar churning, Lord Shiva drank the poison and he did not let the poison fall down his throat to save the world destorying. It is said that the poison affected Lord Shiva's brain and after that, he fainted. During this, Adi Shakti appeared to the gods and they suggested herbs and water to cure Lord Shiva.

During this time, at the behest of Adi Shakti, the gods placed hemp, dhatura and belpatra on Lord Shiva and anointed them continuously with water. It is said that he was awakened by this happening. After all this, Lord Shiva loves bhang, datura. Bhang and Dhatura are said to be used medicinally. At the same time, in the scriptures, three leaves of Bel Patra have been considered as symbols of Raja, Sattva, and Tamoguna. It is said that all the wishes are fulfilled by offering Belapatra to Shiva.
