Cybercriminals are also taking advantage of the popularity of the professional networking platform LinkedIn. Cybercriminals try to target individuals in many ways to steal their personal details. Because of this, it is the top brand for hackers where people's personal details are stolen through phishing attacks.  

That's what it claims in a report. The report said that LinkedIn ranked first in the second quarter of this year in terms of phishing attacks with 45 per cent of the attempt. According to the report, its parent company Microsoft was ranked second in this case. 13% of the fishing attacks were detected. Subsequently, DHL came third with 12 per cent fishing attempts. The top 10 also includes popular brands such as Adidas, Adobe and HSBC.  

Omer Dembinsky, data research group manager of CheckPoint Software, said that phishing emails are becoming an essential tool for hackers. Hackers can target millions of users at a lower price. Cybercriminals take advantage of the brand and give wrong information about the safety of users. After this, they try to steal the personal information of the users. The researcher has said that Microsoft-related scams are growing rapidly and are much more dangerous. It is also dangerous for individual users as well as organizations. As soon as they get account login details, they have access to all applications such as Teams and SharePoint. In this scam, users are first sent a malicious email in the LinkedIn communication style. These emails come from the company from a lot of addresses. But users share their personal details by clicking on such a link. It is advised to be careful of such emails.
