style="text-align: justify;">Ingredients for Spinach Soup:
  • Spinach - 500 gms. (1 bunch
  • Tomato - 4 (medium sized)
  • Ginger - 1 inch long piece.
  • Salt - 3/4 tea spoon.
  • Black salt - 1/2 tea spoon.
  • Black pepper - less than 1/4 tea spoon.
  • Lemon - 1/2
  • Butter - 1 table spoon.
  • Cream - 1 table spoon.
  • Coriander leaves - 1 table spoon (chopped)

Method - How to make Spinach Soup:

  • Separate the stems from the spinach leaves and wash them twice with water. Wash the tomatoes and ginger also.
  • Cut the spinach leaves, tomatoes and ginger into big pieces and put them inside the cooker along with 2-3 table spoon water to boil. Turn off the flame once the spinach becomes tender.
  • Let the vegetables cool down a little and then put them into the mixing jar and run the mixer to get a paste.
  • Pour 1 ltr. (5 cup) water into the mixture and sieve it with a strainer in a steel bowl. Keep the bowl on the stove and let the soup boil again. Mix salt, black salt and black pepper into the soup and cook the soup for 2-3 minutes.
  • Spinach soup is ready. Turn off the flame and put 1-2 cubes of butter, lemon juice into it and mix well.
  • Serve the hot and fresh spinach soup with soup sticks to your family members after garnishing each bowl with cream and coriander leaves.
