Ayushmann Khurrana’s Doctor G is finally hit the screen and the movie is receiving very good reviews. In the film, Doctor G (Dr Uday Gupta) played by Ayushmann Khurrana. It is based on the concept of a Male Gynecologist feel uncomfortable is treating female patients. The movie is doing very well at Box office.
According to a Box office report, “The film opened on Friday at around ₹3.25 crore. It clashed with Parineeti Chopra-starrer Code Name Tiranga. The opening collections of Doctor G are better than his last film, Anek which opened at ₹1.77 crore. The response on the first day is similar to the opening collections of his 2021 film, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui.”
Doctor G collected in the range of ₹3-3.25 crore, as per early estimates. It states the film's Saturday collections will outline its overall performance at the box office in the coming days.
Speaking about Doctor G is based on medical campus comedy-drama, Doctor G is about the hilarious struggles of Dr. Uday Gupta, who wanted to specialize in Orthopaedic, but is stuck in an all-female class of Gynaecology. Ayushmann's Uday understands women aren't comfortable with male doctors when it comes to gynaecology. However, there's Shefali Shah as Dr Nadini to pull him and the audience out of this notion. She wants him to lose the male touch and take his responsibility as a doctor seriously. This awkward confrontation of Dr Uday with female physiology is what Doctor G is all about.
Doctor G--landed on October 14 in the theatres. Directed by Anubhuti Kashyap and written by Sourabh Bhagat and Vishal Wagh, the film is produced by Junglee Pictures.
