Ayushmann Khurrana’s Doctor G is finally hit the screen and the movie is receiving very good reviews. In the film, Doctor G (Dr Uday Gupta) played by Ayushmann Khurrana. It is based on the concept of a Male Gynaecoogist feel uncomfortable is treating female patients.
 

Story of Doctor G

Uday’s world revolves around the stree-rog vibhaag of the medical college, though what he is desperately waiting for is to find an exit route from there. Anubhuti Kashyap’s Doctor G presents one character after another, well-sketched and each with a distinct personality that adds layers to the circumstantial chaos and conflict in Dr Uday’s life. 
All the women Dr Jenny Jacob (Priyam Saha), Dr KLPD aka Kumudlatha Pamulparthi Diwakaran (Shraddha Jain), the nurses or Shobha Gupta (Sheeba Chadha as Dr Uday's mom), the women in this story lend a lot of might to the narrative at every stage and some also create problem for him. The characters bring a certain vibrancy to the story which is set largely in a medical college campus of Bhopal.

Movie Review

The Film has a unique concept and there's no taking that away but some scenes are scretching. The second half of Doctor G is a plus for the movie, but it does get a slow start.  Ayushmann’s character is utterly believable, hilarious and on point. Even as his character evolves, he never loses grip. His performance is lived-in and at par with some of his finer acts in the past.

Rakul Preet Singh displays her acting chops beautifully without taking attention away from the central conflict of the movie The true blue stars, Sheeba Chaddha and Shefali Shah. Shefali, plays Dr. Nandini, the head of the Gynac department, and she just has the kind of screen presence that no one can ever match, The music does not add much value to the entire look and feel of the film, however, it is also not too much in the face. The movie is overall worth watching.
