Salman Khan returned as the host of this Shukravaar ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 16 once more. Salman Khan has taken back control of the competition after Karan Johar took over the previous week. Sumbul Touqeer and Ankit Gupta were the top two names given by contestants when he first asked them to name two people who, in their opinion, needed guidance.

Sumbul received a scolding from Salman for being absent from the house and even had her relevance called into question. However, Salman asked Ankit the same question after several contestants asserted that Ankit was acting under Priyanka's direction because he wasn't speaking out about any issues, and Ankit refuted the assertions.
