Due to the nationwide lockdown, people are trapped in every corner. The Vande Bharat Mission Scheme has been launched to help such people. Under this, work is being done to bring the trapped people to their residence in other states, but in the meantime, a West Bengal minister has alleged that it is being discriminated against West Bengal. Now the Ministry of External Affairs has given a clarification on this. The statement issued by the ministry said that Vande Bharat Mission does not create discrimination in any state. This plan is for all Indians trapped in India and abroad.

On this matter, Foreign Ministry spokesman Shrivastava wrote on Twitter that MEA does not discriminate between states. The Vande Bharat Mission of the Government of India is for all the stranded Indians of West Bengal. Of these, 3700 have registered people trapped in different parts of the world. Explain that the education minister of West Bengal, Partha Chatterjee, had raised questions on the Vande Bharat Mission. His reply was answered by the spokesperson. Under the Vande Bharat Mission various lockdown restrictions are being brought to India from May 7 to their citizens trapped abroad.

The country is going through a very delicate situation at this time. The third phase of coronavirus lockdown is currently in force in India. This lockdown is in force until 17 May. No cure has been found for this virus spread from Wuhan, China. All people are being advised to take precaution. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also emphasizing on social distancing. Not only India but more than 200 countries are struggling with this virus.
