Lucknow: Violent protests are on in several states of the country over the Agneepath scheme brought out by the Modi government at the Centre for recruitment in the Army. The youth have blown up the trains at many places. After this, many trains have been cancelled, while many trains have been rescheduled. In Uttar Pradesh too, the youth are creating ruckus against the scheme. At the same time, seeing the atmosphere against the central government, the political parties have also started opposing this scheme. 

Speaking to the media on the issue, the state's Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya urged the youth not to be misled over the Agneepath scheme. At the same time, regarding the Agneepath scheme, he urged the youth of the state not to be misled by the scheme. If there is a complaint, give it to the government and dm and bring it to the fore. That is why the age limit has been increased, the government is thinking in the interest of the youth. Regarding the violent protests by the youth, he said that behind it is the opposition who could not defeat the BJP and are now agitating  the youth.
