Jaipur: Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has said that it is the first responsibility of the police to do justice to the victim, saying that he should not work under any pressure and do not do any improper work even on the recommendation of the biggest person. CM Gehlot was speaking at a program organized on the Police Foundation Day here on Saturday.
During this, CM Gehlot said that the police administration should not do injustice to anyone and they should maintain the rule of law and constitution. Whoever recommends do justice to the victim, it is his first responsibility. He said that the police should not work under pressure, do not do injustice even on the recommendation of the biggest person. He praised the police of the state and said that law and order has been controlled in the state and it has been successful in winning the hearts of the people and it is fulfilling the responsibility of serving the weak and protecting all the citizens. By staying alert day and night, he has established trust in the common man and terror among the criminals.
Gehlot further said that it has been decided to promote these two constables, including the constable, who saved the lives of four people by risking their lives in Karauli and another constable who did a better job in another case, by promoting them to head constables. He said that the working style in the police stations has been strengthened and the police has done it according to the intention of the government.
