Katni: Madhya Pradesh's Katni MLA and former minister Sanjay Pathak has written a letter to CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan demanding a ban on the display of popular celebrities in advertisements of online gaming apps. Sanjay Pathak has written that when well-known celebrities promote these gaming apps, people have an impact on them and they get attracted towards it.

In a letter sent to CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, former minister Sanjay Satyendra Pathak has written that for the past few times, it is being seen that popular personalities, film and sports personalities are using mobile phones through advertisements to promote various mobile app games. Attracts public to win money by playing games which is not good. Popular people who encourage to play mobile app games are celebrities of film and sports world who have a good influence on the common people and seeing them in these advertisements, the public is encouraged for gambling, betting, online betting through such apps. It happens and destroys your precious time and hard earned money.

Sanjay Pathak wrote, It has been seen that sometimes people take steps like suicide due to debt. The government should take strict steps in this direction. In the public interest, there should be a ban on the appearance of popular personalities, celebrities of film and shell world in the promotional advertisements of mobile app games. Let us tell you that in December last year itself, the Shivraj government has formed a task force for the prevention of online gaming and control over online gaming in Madhya Pradesh. Additional Chief Secretary Home Rajesh Rajoura has been made the chairman of the task force. There are a total of 7 members in this task force. The task force will examine all judicial precedents, legal situations and technical aspects and make recommendations to the state government.
