Dealerships and manufacturers this month are offering discounts and benefits on 2017 models yet to be sold in a bid to clear inventory.

Hyundai Grand i10
-Save up to Rs 95,000
The Grand i10 takes on the new Maruti Suzuki Swift and the Ford Figo. Hyundai’s stylish hatchback comes with a long list of features and a decent-sized cabin. Petrol and diesel engine options are on offer with the diesel version recently getting a new 1.2-litre motor. Discounts in the range of Rs 95,000 are on offer at most locations.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis diesel
-Save up to Rs 75,000
The Ignis has been styled to look different; which means that its quirky design attracts a few buyers. It, however, comes with a proven 1.3-litre diesel engine and a spacious cabin along with a decent feature list. Discounts in the range of Rs 75,000 are on offer at most dealerships depending on inventory.

Honda Jazz
-Save up to Rs 70,000
Honda’s spacious hatchback takes on the Maruti Suzuki Baleno and the recently updated Hyundai i20. It comes with a 1.2-litre petrol as well as a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Discounts in the range of Rs 70,000 are on offer on most variants of the Jazz.

2017 Renault Kwid
-Save up to Rs 35,000
The Kwid is Renault’s answer to Hyundai's Eon and Maruti's Alto. Its USPs are its SUV-like looks and a touchscreen infotainment system. Dealers are offering benefits and discounts combined to the tune of around Rs 35,000 on leftover 2017 stocks, depending on availability.

SUVs

Mercedes GLE
-Save up to Rs 3 lakh
The GLE is one of the most popular SUVs in India to come from the Mercedes stable. It takes on the BMW X5 and the Audi Q7. The GLE’s USPs are a plush ride and a smooth diesel engine. It comes with adequate features, as well. Dealers are offering discounts of around Rs 3 lakh on most variants of the SUV, depending on availability.

2017 Maruti S-Cross (pre-facelift)
-Save up to 75,000
The S-cross diesel, in its pre-facelift version, was a slow seller. The model has now been refreshed. However, some dealers still have unsold stocks of the earlier car, which was available with Fiat-sourced 1.3-litre and 1.6-litre diesel engines. In a bid to clear stocks, discounts and accessories to the tune of Rs 75,000 are on offer on the pre-facelift S-cross, depending on location. 

SEDANS

2017 BMW 520d
-Save up to Rs 2.75 lakh
BMW’s latest-gen 5-series sedan sets new benchmarks for performance and luxury in its class. Its stylish exteriors compliment its plush interiors and it has lots of tech. The Mercedes E-class rival comes with superb diesel engines – a 190hp, 2.0-litre and a 265hp, 3.0-litre, too. Dealers are offering discounts of around Rs 2.75 lakh on unsold 2017 stocks, depending on inventory.

Nissan Sunny
-Save up to Rs 1.25 lakh
The Nissan Sunny takes on the Verna and City. It comes with proven 1.5-litre diesel and petrol engines. The Sunny trumps over its rivals in terms of backseat space and legroom. It comes with a decent feature list, too. Dealers are offering discounts in the range of Rs 1.25 lakh on the car at most locations.

Maruti Ciaz diesel
-Save up to Rs 95,000
The Ciaz is a rival to the Honda City and Hyundai Verna. It comes with a 90hp, 1.3-litre Fiat-sourced diesel engine and SHVS Smart-Hybrid tech. The mid-size sedan also features a spacious cabin and decent features list, which makes it a good all-rounder. Dealers are offering discounts and benefits to the tune of Rs 95,000 at most dealerships across India.

2017 Honda Amaze
-Save up to Rs 75,000
Honda will soon replace the current-gen Amaze sedan with an all-new model that was recently unveiled at the 2018 Auto Expo. However, the carmaker still has 2017-manufactured stocks to clear and hence discounts in the range of Rs 75,000 are on offer depending on availability.

Hyundai Elantra
-Save up to Rs 75,000
Hyundai’s rival to the Corolla and the Octavia is now available with benefits of around Rs 75,000 at most locations. It comes with a superbly built cabin and refined 152hp, 2.0-litre petrol and 128hp, 1.6-litre diesel engines. The Elantra’s exteriors are stylish, too, with an adequate dose of curves and LED daytime running lights.

2017 Hyundai Xcent
-Save up to Rs 60,000
The Xcent recently received a refresh which makes it looks like a baby-Verna when viewed from the front. It also gets an upgraded 1.2-litre diesel engine and a standard 1.2-litre petrol motor. The car's key rivals include the Dzire, Amaze and the Figo Aspire. Discounts in the range of Rs 60,000 are on offer on the Hyundai compact sedan.
